作品“蜻蜓”石雕是藝術家早年在義大利石雕工作室，研究用中國象形文字的方式去創作的一件作品。中國造字六書「象形」方法是將事物用簡單的線條繪畫出其主要特徵，例如：魚、牛、馬等字，將複習的形體以簡單化表現，如現代繪畫中的抽象概念。而在雕刻這主體蜻蜓時，使刻意將它的尾巴部份特別強調。

This stone carving was a work in the stone carving studio of Italy in the early years to study the use of Chinese hieroglyphics.
