By a variety of grinding, brush, painting, tore, plastering, Lai Chi Man captures his thoughts and modelling about the concept of “between”. Through the form of art that is between sculpture and painting, Lai Chi Man achieved his own “operations on the paper”.
In the paper artwork “In the Field”, natural elements such as river, grass, and the sky are partially hidden and partially visible. And the entangled and colliding brushstrokes resemble the complex thoughts in the mind of human beings.
