生命中的意外讓譚平的創作出現了新的元素，以生活與藝術的關係層面重新看待生命 的意義:“畫面中的圓圈、圓點，最初在我眼中就是一個細胞。當在顯微鏡下看一個 細胞的時候，它是一個圓。但當無數個細胞撲面湧來，我們所能看到的細胞個體則成了點。”

Accident in life brought new elements to Tan Ping’s creations, and inspired him to re-examined the meaning of life from the relationship between living and art. “At first, the circles and dots in the painting were a cell in my eyes. When looking at a cell under a microscope, it is a circle. However, when there are countless cells, the individual cells we could see became dots.”
