“Overspread” is the superimposition of time slices. After working for every ten minutes, I chose to smear the previous existing composition with thick paints applied by a scrubbing brush. I keep painting, smearing, painting, and smearing. “Overspread” is the counter action against accustomed painting, with the aim to “destroy” rather than create. The more perfect compositions are smeared, the more truthful this action speaks about its concept.
