“A ‘beautiful’ painting must be supported by ‘pain’ in order to bring out a sense of texture. In the eyes of others, a circle or a dot in the painting may be simply an abstract symbol; To me, it is a life that resides between life and death; it is the anxiety that looms deep in the heart before the tragedy happens. My circle and dot are the homeless and floating souls that have nowhere to land. The apathetic sense is awakened by ‘injury’.”
