“作品《週日》，作於2016至2018年，是系列作品中的其中一件。作品的標題和作品內容都基本與藝術家的生活情緒和生活節奏有關。恰好這張作品完成收工時是星期天，便命名如此。“我的作品在完成時，基本每幅下都是一層層底色的積累和支撐，最少要用到兩周到一個月多時間。我比較習慣於將幾張作品同時間鋪底進行創作，每張作品的進度都不一樣，其節奏即是我的生活情緒。一周繁忙工作的結束，正是給予思考與揮動、完成這幅作品的機會。” — 金日龍 “The artwork 'Sunday', made in 2016-2018, is one of a series of works.
