Scarecrow Cross Series (1991-1993) The Auvers-sur-Oise (Van Gogh Village) in the northwestern suburbs of Paris has beautiful scenery and is the last destination Van Gogh lived. In September 1991, Fu entered the National Studio of Van Gogh Village. Painter/art critics Chen Yingde said in the article "Fu's paintings show imagination and performance", “Characters are moving from a relatively closed space to open land. Seeing the smoky people dancing in the golden wheat fields and the vast horizon, the crows on the wheat fields, the scarecrow… the birds and the incarnation of the god combine to form a new creative image, giving an image associated with life and death. His previously distorted expressionist image was portrayed in a simplified form at this time."
